This is the second year in a row that I get to do family pictures for the Ballstaedts. This year we had so many options in mind about the location and we ended up opting for The State Capitol in Salt Lake City, Utah. There is a little trail right next to it, that allowed us to take some beautiful outdoor pictures and then the background of the beautiful gray building. One of my passions is to do family photoshoots, specially here in Utah, where there are so many amazing breathtaking options, the mountains, beautiful buildings, lakes, etc.

JON + AMANDA | MIDWAY UTAH | UTAH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I had the privilege to photograph Jon & Amanda's love story. We first met at Gourmandise Bakery in Salt Lake City and we decided over a tiramisu (highly recommend you try it out if you go to this bakery) that we would work together on an engagement session and their wedding date. They were such a happy couple and I loved the results of both sessions [pictures of the engagement session are on my instagram]. Their wedding day started at the Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah, were Amanda and her family got ready, then we headed to a beautiful cabin where the ceremony took place. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and there is a good vibe? well thats exactly how it felt to walk into that cabin. The family, friends and the couple itself were in for a treat that afternoon, everything happened in a flow and I got to admit that their vows got me teary. I am so glad they allowed me to be part of this magical day.

Capturing these beautiful pictures was an amazing experience. Breea and Cody have a very tangible chemistry, telling them to pose wasn't even an option, they would automatically and instinctively cuddle and be next to each other, those are the moments that I love capturing. As a wedding photographer here in Utah, I get to photograph so many couples, and I obviously have to direct them (thats my job as a photographer) but to be able to translate a love story, thats my goal. This photoshoot took place in Travis J Studio in Draper Utah.

INDY BELLE | PROVO UTAH | UTAH SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Let me tell you that Indy is one gorgeous girl, I mean not only she is beautiful but she is multitalented, she is an amazing dancer (you need to check out her insta feed @indybelledance), she is constantly modeling, and has such a bright future ahead of her. I had a lot of fun doing this portrait session, going to the laundry mat and getting some fun shots. This photoshoot took place in Provo Utah.

This family is beyond beautiful! Look at them, they look straight out of a magazine, we had a lot of fun during the shoot, the kids were enjoying the pictures, specially Bridget (on the burgundy dress) she kept jumping in all the pictures, it was really cute! Jenny and Jacob have a wonderful family! This photoshoot took place in Sandy Utah.

Utah Fall weddings... they are my favorite! Specially if they are at one of the resorts, in this case this took place at Solitude Resort up in Big Cottonwood Canyon. As I was driving there, the colors  and the beautiful mountains give you such a sense of freedom and peace. Solitude Resort is beautiful and capturing this amazing couple was just delightful. The event Planner was Jessica Dickson.

DANIELLE | AMERICAN FORK CANYON | UTAH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I can honestly say that doing wedding photography in Utah is such an amazing blessing, one of the many pros is that I get to photograph brides in backgrounds like this one! The beauty of the majestic mountains blended with the natural beauty of Danielle were a perfect combination for a beautiful bridal photoshoot. This photoshoot took place in American Fork Canyon.
